Saints @ St Mary's Bank

Saints @ St Mary's Bank

Hats off to the staff!! I have previously been an "old school" bank teller with another banking institution many years ago. Back when it was industry standard for all money having to be facing in the same direction. Those were the days of the epitome of personal banking. You could be recognized without a "Profiler Status". You could be a person of character and your word was word. And bank managers though did run credit checks could override and make their own decisions about many levels of banking. A simple nod of the head across the room and you could have a check approved for cashing without embarrassing scrutinty of several things. You felt proud that you could be trusted. Everyone knew your name and if they did not that same wink came across the teller line to silently ok any transaction. Obviosly those days are gone to homeland security, profiling and money laundering security tactics! I was introduced to St Mary's Bank by a G. Shakra and had never dealt with a Credit Union before. I have my personal accounts there now and am very glad I do, and am considering moving my Business accounts over very soon. WHY you ask? I'll tell you why... Though times have changed and new updated security measures are needed, I still to this day because of the personal attention and service I ALWAYS get, when I walk into any of the branches. I am recognized, surprisingly, by people who have made an effort to know my name; much to my surprise because I don't go into the bank all that often. An occasional drive through visit, but most of my banking is done after hours through the ATM machines. BTW the ATM's at St Mary's are the best screens available and the paper slips aren't catapulted out of the machine and spit at you with gunfire speed. It's like trying to catch a speeding bullet (like at some of the OTHER banks namely one hint hint...founded in Ireland... So Thank you very much, St Mary's for you exceptional customer service... and for being currently up to date with all the modern security measures that are necessary and mandatory in helping to protect me - but for still making me feel like I am a valued customer and not just an electronic number. I will try and remember to know and speak all of your names as well; and to make a point to thank you for your wonderful customer service...OH and one more thing..BTW, I am still compelled to put all bills in the same order!

Sincerely,

Kathryn Nelson
