When I was a grade school student at St. Patricks every day the sister's would select 2 trustworthy students to walk to the bank and bring the tuition deposits. I remember how lucky I felt when I was picked. Not only did I get to leave school grounds but to walk into the old bank was really a treat. Can you imagine grade school kids going off school grounds today with money? Times were so much simpler then.
