St. Mary's does not share information about our members with third parties, except, as disclosed in our privacy policy, in order to conduct our business, comply with applicable laws and regulations, and to protect against fraud.
Privacy and security are top priorities at St. Mary's Bank. We are committed to protecting the security and confidentiality of your information and use a combination of state-of-the-art technology and methods to help ensure that your online sessions are secure.

Because we value the trust you have placed in us, we respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding your nonpublic personally identifiable information ("Information"). This Privacy Policy applies to three affiliated companies:
- St. Mary's Bank Credit Union
- St. Mary's Insurance Services, Inc.
- St. Mary's Title Services, LLC
- St. Mary's Financial Services is now a department of St. Mary's Bank Credit Union and not a separate company.
The terms we, our and us refer to St. Mary's Bank Credit Union, St. Mary's Insurance Services, Inc., and St. Mary's Title Services, LLC. These are separate companies, and we generally mean each of the companies separately. The terms you and your refer to members of the credit union and customers of the insurance agency or title services. This disclosure will only apply to you as a member or customer of those of us with whom you do business.
- THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU
Each of us with whom you do business collects Information about you from the following sources:
- Information you give any of us on applications or other forms, such as your social security number, assets, income and debt;
- Information from your transactions and experience with any of us, such as your account balances, payment history, existence and terms of insurance coverage, credit card usage, and your inquiries and our responses;
- Information about your transactions and experience with nonaffiliated parties conducted through one of us, such as your employment, loan and credit card balances.
- Information from consumer reporting agencies, such as your creditworthiness and credit history;
- Information from others, including public sources, such as real estate records and telephone directories.
- THE CONFIDENTIALITY, SECURITY AND INTEGRITY OF YOUR INFORMATION
We restrict access to your Information to those of our employees who need to know that Information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your Information, including privacy, security and ethical policies and periodic training and testing of employees on the policies.
- SHARING INFORMATION WITH NON-AFFILIATED PARTIES
We do not share your Information with nonaffiliated third parties for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing of their own products and services. We do not disclose Information about you to any nonaffiliated third parties, except as disclosed below in this policy or as permitted by law. We do not disclose Information about former members or customers to any nonaffiliated third parties, except as permitted by law.
- SHARING INFORMATION WITH AFFILIATES
Because we are financial service providers who collectively offer mutual funds, securities, insurance products and credit union services, we may share Information with our affiliates, such as the credit union, and insurance and title companies, to provide you with information about additional products and services that are available through our affiliates. We limit the Information shared to information from transactions and experience with you, such as your name, address, account numbers and balances, payment history, parties to transactions, credit card usage, and terms of insurance purchased.
- SHARING INFORMATION WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS
We share with outside parties providing services for us or on our behalf of all the categories of Information we collect about you, such as your name, address, account numbers and balances, payment history, parties to transactions, credit card usage, terms of insurance purchased, creditworthiness and credit history. These service providers perform services on behalf of us and products or services jointly marketed between us and other financial institutions. These service providers include consumer reporting agencies, companies that print your checks, and companies that assist us with mailing or marketing activities. Our contracts with these service providers prohibit them from disclosing or using your Information for anything except performing their services for us. Our disclosures to any nonaffiliated third parties who are service providers or joint marketing partners (see below) are made as permitted by law.
- SHARING INFORMATION WITH JOINT MARKETING PROVIDERS
We share with other companies with whom we jointly offer, endorse or sponsor financial products or services, such as mutual funds, securities and insurance products, the same categories of Information as we share with service providers (see above). Our contracts with these companies prohibit them from disclosing or using your Information for anything except performing such services jointly with us.
- PROTECTION OF INFORMATION VIA ESTABLISHED SECURITY PROCEDURES
All of St. Mary's Bank's operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects member account information from being accessed by third parties. We maintain and grant access to members' information only in accordance to law and with our internal security standards. We continually assess new technology for protecting member information. All employees receive training to understand and comply with our procedures in this regard. All employees are expected to understand and adhere to the Credit Union's Information Security Policy and Program which is contained in a separate document, yet it is integral to this policy.
