Awesome Ribs by Fran from Manchester
Ingredients:
- 2 racks pork baby-back ribs (about 4 1/2 lbs)
- 1 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 1/2 cups barbeque sauce (I like Sweet Baby Rays)
- 3/4 cup cherry preserves
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove, minced (I use the bottled kind)
Directions for Preparation: Cut ribs into serving-size pieces; sprinkle with pepper. Place in 5 or 6 quart slow cooker. Combine the remaining ingredients; pour over ribs. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or until meat is tender and serve with sauce.
Special Tips & Tricks: The meat falls off the bones and this recipe smells so yummy when it's cooking. Very easy recipe. For even easier clean-up, use the Reynolds slow-cooker bags!
Serve with: I like these ribs with a nice crunchy cole slaw!
