Slow Cooker Recipe Contest Finalist
Strawberry- n-Cream Slow Bake Cake by Libby from Illinois
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 18.25 ounce package strawberry cake mix
- 1 3.9 ounce package instant white chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- non-stick spray
Directions for Preparation: In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream with the jam. Beat in the eggs, water, and oil. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Combine the cake mix, with the pudding mix. Stir dry mix into the wet until combined, and add chips. Pour into a sprayed 5 quart slow cooker that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, or 3-4 hours on high.
Serve with: This can be served with whipped cream or ice cream to finish!
