Project Update:

Construction is well underway on St. Mary's Bank headquarters on McGregor Street in Manchester, NH, with completion anticipated Fall 2013. Why will it take so long? It’s a complicated, three-phase project:

    ·         New building (with temporary drive-up)

    ·         Current building will be demolished

    ·         Permanent drive-up will be constructed (where current building and drive-up now stand)

    Open During Construction
We will be open throughout the construction process and our goal is to minimize the impact to members. Please check back frequently for updates on any service disruptions such as temporary ATM or drive up closures, and the general progress of the new building.

New Headquarters to be Environmentally Friendly
We are proud to say we are pursuing LEED Silver Certification.

LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, certification provides independent, third-party verification a building was designed and built using strategies aimed at achieving high performance in key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality. Here are a few examples of what will be included in our project:

    ·         There will be a solar photovoltaic array installed over the drive-up canopy to supplement electricity in the building.

    ·         All the exterior lighting is LED light fixtures and many of the interior light fixtures are LED lasting as long as 10 years without replacement. The remaining fixtures are high performance fluorescent light fixtures.

    ·         The heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems are a very high efficiency design consisting of a condensing unit and fan coil system. There is a heat recovery unit included in the design to recapture interior heat from exhausted building air.

    ·         All the plumbing fixtures are high efficiency water conserving fixtures.

    ·         The interior carpet is an eco-friendly product that is a "Cradle-to-Cradle" closed loop product. The product is made of recycled material which at the end of its wear life will be reclaimed to be recycled into making new carpet.

    ·         Many of the interior products are produced locally and made with recycled materials including the building's steel structure.

    ·         Many of the finish products are also "no VOC" or "low VOC" for a healthier interior building environment.
