Use St. Mary's online banking and bill pay services with confidence

We are in the process of adding additional layers of security for verifying your identity as you login to St. Mary's online banking or bill pay services. These new security features will provide added protection from identity theft and will confirm when you are accessing St. Mary's legitimate online banking and bill pay web sites.

New security features set up process:
Starting March 12, 2007, the first time you login to online banking you will be asked to select a personal image. This image will be displayed every time after this, each time you login to online banking. In the following days, you will also be asked to select three personal security questions and answers as part of the new security features. We describe these selections in more detail below. You will be asked to complete this information twice (and potentially at different times) if you have both online banking and bill pay services and only once if you just use online banking. The setup is easy and takes only a few minutes.

Select a personal image -- to verify you are accessing our legitimate site:
When prompted, choose an image from the options presented. After this set up, every time you login, your selected image will be displayed, indicating you are at the legitimate St. Mary's Bank online banking or bill pay site. If you do not see your image, do not continue and contact us immediately.

Bill Pay users will also be asked to provide a personal phrase that will be displayed below the personal image.

Security questions to verify your identity:
When prompted, you will be asked to select three personal security questions. You simply select a question from the menu and give your answer in the box provided. From then on, we will monitor the transactions performed in your account(s) and whenever we suspect a risky transaction is about to be performed, we will ask you one or more of these questions.
