SaveUp Pilot Program Details
 |
What is SaveUp? SaveUp is a new rewards program that helps Americans succeed financially by encouraging them to adopt good financial behaviors, such as saving money and paying down debt. By rewarding people with the chance to win valuable or life-changing prizes, we hope to motivate them to become savers instead of spenders.
How does SaveUp Work? After registering savings and debt-bearing accounts with SaveUp, users earn credits by making deposits into their savings account or paying down debt. Credits can be redeemed for a chance to win prizes and users can earn additional credits by participating in daily challenges, engaging with educational content on the site or participating in social actions to help others save.
What is a Pilot Program? This pilot program is a trial launch of a new partner service (SaveUp) to evaluate the benefit to our members. Thoughout the pilot program we may ask for your feedback on this service.
Why Should Members Trust SaveUp? SaveUp does not have access to user accounts, doesn't store user bank information and will never sell user information to third parties or marketers. SaveUp has also partnered with Intuit, a company whose platform provides secure data aggregation services to millions of Americans, and SaveUp's security and privacy policies have earned certification from trusted organizations such as McAfee, Verisign and TRUSTe.
What kind of information must users provide in order to use SaveUp? Users simply register any savings or debt-bearing accounts with SaveUp, including IRAs, 401Ks, mortgages, student loans or credit cards.
Does SaveUp collect, store, or access a user's personal or financial information? SaveUp does not store bank credentials or account numbers. SaveUp stores deposit and payment transaction data so we can track user credits and prevent cheating. SaveUp also analyzes spending and savings patterns so they can suggest financial actions to help change user behavior for the better.
