St. Mary’s Bank Recognized as Top Housing Lender

St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union is recognized as one of New Hampshire’s top 10 housing lenders of 2015 by New Hampshire Housing. St. Mary’s Bank closed a significant number of loans to homebuyers throughout 2015.

“We are honored to receive this recognition for the fifth year in a row,” said Karen Mayrand, Director of Residential Lending for St. Mary’s Bank. “It demonstrates our commitment to providing affordable financing options to N.H. home buyers. Our relationship with New Hampshire Housing allows us to help individuals achieve their goal of home ownership.”

The Mortgage Center at St. Mary’s Bank participates in the New Hampshire Housing Home Flex and Home Flex Plus programs. These programs provide low and moderate-income persons with affordable mortgage financing with low fixed interest rates, low down payment requirements and cash assistance grants to help borrowers with down payment and closing costs. Many two to four family homes are eligible under the program.
