MANCHESTER, NH (October 8, 2020) — St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union, is pleased to announce the promotion of Damian Gunther to Manchester Regional Manager also appointed to Vice President.
Gunther joined the credit union in 2015 and most recently served as the Branch Sales and Service Manager at our Daniel Webster Highway branch location in Manchester. In that role, Gunther oversaw the branch’s daily operations and sales.
In his new role as Regional Manager, Gunther will provide ongoing coaching and support to all Manchester branches. Some of the goals that Gunther will help achieve are to ensure the highest level of personalized service to St. Mary’s Bank’s members, meeting business plan objectives for the Manchester region and actively supporting the greater Manchester community.
“Damian demonstrated excellent leadership and team building skills to continue to help the D.W. branch grow,” said Leo Simard, Senior Vice President Director Retail Sales and Member Experience. “During his time here at the credit union he has shown how passionate he is about credit union values and member experience.”
Damian holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Restaurant Management and Human Resource Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Gunther is active member in our community. Gunther volunteers frequently with the United Way of Greater Nashua.
