St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union, is pleased to announce that it will make down-payment assistance grants of up to $15,000 available to eligible first-time homebuyers starting this spring. The grants can be used for down-payment and closing costs as well as homebuyer counseling and rehabilitation assistance.


St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union, recognized employee volunteer milestone achievements in 2018 at a recent reception at their headquarters on McGregor Street in Manchester.


St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union, recently recognized employees representing 557 combined years of service to members with a dinner at the Puritan Backroom. The credit union’s President’s Club, launched in 2010, recognizes and thanks employees who reach 20 years of service and includes 21 current employees.


St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union, celebrated its 110th anniversary on November 8, 2018 by embracing the credit union philosophy of people helping people with an employee volunteer challenge to support local non-profits.


The nation’s first credit union announces the appointment of Donnalee Lozeau to the St. Mary’s Bank Supervisory Committee, an independent body that oversees the credit union’s management and Board of Directors.

“I am honored to be part of the Supervisory Committee and am eager to support the management and members of St. Mary’s Bank,” says Lozeau.
