St. Mary's Bank is pleased to announce that Maria Southmayd has joined St. Mary's as branch manager for their new Londonderry location, which is scheduled to open this fall.

In her new role, Southmayd will be responsible for the branch's day-to-day operations and for growing and maintaining member relationships. She will also be involved in business development for St. Mary's in the town of Londonderry.

"Maria's proven experience and enthusiasm for leadership will be invaluable as St. Mary's expands into a new market in Londonderry," said Lisa Viau, director of branch sales and service. "She will play an integral role as St. Mary's becomes a member of the community." Southmayd is already active in the Manchester and Nashua communities, helping with many United Way Campaigns and working at soup kitchens in both cities.

Southmayd brings to her position over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. She has worked as a manager in both back office operations and the retail branch environment for Citizens Bank.

Southmayd resides in Derry.
