St. Mary's Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Edith M. Poirier to Member Contact Center Manager. Additionally, Poirier will manage the telephone and online delivery services of St. Mary's new Mortgage Center, where consumers can apply for and be approved for a mortgage in minutes, whether online, by phone or in person.

Poirier is responsible for managing member sales and service at the Contact Center, which answers all phone calls and e-mail inquiries, opens accounts, coordinates outbound calling efforts and processes consumer and mortgage applications submitted online and by phone. Poirier assumes the role after two years as Member Contact Center Supervisor and Retail Trainer.

"Edie's leadership and training skills, coupled with her financial background, will greatly benefit St. Mary's by helping our Member Contact Center representatives continue to provide our members with world-class service," said Lisa Viau, Director of Branch Sales and Service.

During her tenure at St. Mary's Bank, Poirier has been a member of organizational project teams for product development and process improvement and has also been responsible for establishing training and coaching programs for staff development and monitoring member service for adherence to federal laws and regulations.

A graduate of New Hampshire Technical Institute and the College of Lifelong Learning at the University System of New Hampshire, Poirier has a Bachelor's of Science degree in financial planning and management. She has also received her Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA, and a commercial lending diploma from the National Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma.

Prior to joining St. Mary's Bank, Poirier held training, marketing and commercial lending positions with financial institutions, including Citizens Bank, Keene Savings Bank, Merrimack Country Savings Bank and Jefferson Pilot Financial Corp. Poirier resides in Concord.
