St. Mary's Bank Wins Bronze Telly Awards for Two Mortgage Center Commercials

Posted On 7/25/2005
St. Mary's Bank announced today they won bronze Telly Awards for two Mortgage Center commercials, which hit cable TV markets in Manchester, Nashua and Concord and statewide on network stations WMUR and WNDS for 13 weeks starting last April.

The 26th Annual Telly Awards winners were announced last month, recognizing and honoring "outstanding local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions," according to the Telly Awards Website.

Last year, according to their Website, the Telly Awards received over 10,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. A panel of judges, comprising winners of previous Telly Awards, reviewed entries against a standard of excellence to determine which companies would be honored. Chosen entries received either a silver or bronze Telly Award.

St. Mary's two winning spots communicated their Mortgage Center's low closing costs and great rates, and one TV spot used humor to illustrate the value St. Mary's provides. The consumer featured in the spot spent his "savings" on a baseball glove-shaped chair and plasma TV screen. The other spot focused on the ease of application and the choices available to consumers: online, by phone or in person.

Both commercials were produced by Creative Co-op of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. To view "The Glove" commercials please click here.
