St. Mary's Bank Names Daryl J. Cady as Chief Financial Office

St. Mary's Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Daryl J. Cady to executive vice president, chief financial officer. Cady is responsible for finance, information technology, loan and deposit operations and facilities management.

Cady has over 20 years of community banking and finance experience. Prior to joining St. Mary's Bank, she served as the chief financial officer for Ledyard National Bank in Hanover and Lake Sunapee Bank in Newport. Over her career, Cady has led multi-million dollar acquisitions, participated in core computer conversions and managed strategic profit improvement projects. She also co-led a start-up bank initiative in Massachusetts.

"Daryl has a proven track record as an effective manager with a deep understanding of the financial, operational, and strategic issues at work in community financial institutions like St. Mary's," said Ronald Rioux, St. Mary's Bank President and CEO. "I'm pleased to welcome such a dynamic and experienced leader to our executive team."

Cady is a Certified Public Accountant with a master of business administration degree from Plymouth State University. She serves on the boards of the Financial Managers Society and the Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust. She is also a finance committee member for the New London Hospital. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a recipient of the Financial Women International (FWI) Woman of Achievement Leadership Award.
