St. Mary’s Bank Launches Summer Celebration Program To Benefit Area Non-Profits

Posted On 7/7/2009
Manchester, NH – St. Mary’s Bank is pleased to announce a new Summer Celebration program to benefit area non-profit organizations via America’s favorite pastime – baseball. As a multi-year sponsor of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, St. Mary’s Bank will be hosting clients and guests, of several non-profit organizations, to summer outings at Fisher Cat’s home games throughout July and August.

“The Summer Celebration program is a win-win for all involved. We’re supporting Manchester’s home team while also providing numerous non-profits, and their clients, the opportunity to enjoy a night at MerchantsAuto.com Stadium,” said Thomas A. Champagne, Director of Community Outreach at St. Mary’s. According to Champagne, “St. Mary’s has a century old tradition of giving back to the community it serves. The Summer Celebration program is just one example of our commitment to corporate social responsibility. We have initially identified six organizations as beneficiaries and we hope to provide outings to more than 240 of their employees and clients.” Beneficiaries of the Summer Celebration program are: The Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley; Child & Family Services; Girls Inc. of NH; Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Nashua; Nashua Senior Center; and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Manchester.

Susan Taylor, Executive Director of The Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley, praised St. Mary’s Bank for implementing Summer Celebration. According to Taylor, “The Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley relies on the support of local businesses and individuals to help create a positive place for kids in our community. St Mary’s Bank has been a valued supporter of our Milford based Club in the past. Their Summer Celebration program will strengthen our program offerings by providing an enriching experience for our members – an experience many of them would not have been able to participate in otherwise. We are thrilled to have the support of St. Mary’s Bank!”
