St. Mary’s Bank is hosting free Reverse Mortgage seminars on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. and also on Wednesday, October 21 at 10:00 a.m. Both sessions will be held at St. Mary’s 200 McGregor Street office in Manchester, NH.

The seminars will cover the important elements of understanding Reverse Mortgages including changes passed earlier this year by Congress that increase the maximum loan amount and cap origination fees. Participants will learn what a reverse mortgage is, how it works, common misconceptions, available products as well as program qualifications. They will also learn about the associated costs of Reverse Mortgages, payment options and program eligibility requirements. The September course will be conducted by Judy Kurisko-Leclerc, Mortgage Loan Officer and Barbara Cunningham, Mortgage Origination Manager with present at the October session.
