Posted On 8/2/2010
Manchester, NH – St. Mary’s Bank (www.stmarysbank.com) is pleased to continue with its Summer Celebration program launched last summer to benefit area non-profit organizations. Through its sponsorship with the NH Fisher Cats, St. Mary’s is hosting clients and guests, of several non-profit organizations, to summer outings at Fisher Cats’ home games throughout the season.

“We launched The Summer Celebration program last year and it was a big success so we brought it back again this year. We had nine local non-profits attend games last year and this year we have a dozen agencies, representing over 400 individuals, scheduled to attend a game this season.” said Thomas A. Champagne, Director of Community Outreach at St. Mary’s. According to Champagne, “St. Mary’s has a century old tradition of giving back to the community it serves and we are very happy to be able give back to those non-profit organizations that do so much for our communities.” Beneficiaries of the Summer Celebration program include: YMCA of Greater Manchester, Girls Inc NH, Inti-Soccer Group, CASA of NH, Youth Council of Nashua, NH Food Bank, Big Brothers Big Sisters Manchester, Nashua Adult Learning Center, NH Catholic Charities, The Way Home and Families in Transition.

Cathy Duffy Cullity, Chief Executive Officer, Girls Inc. NH thanked St. Mary’s Bank for including her organization in the Summer Celebration for the second year. According to Cullity, “At Girls Inc. we provide a wide range of programs and activities to help our girls develop self confidence and be better prepared to face life’s challenges. St Mary’s Bank has been a valued supporter of our organization and participating in their Summer Celebration program gives our girls an opportunity to have a fun and enriching experience many of them would not have been able to participate in otherwise. We are grateful to have the support of St. Mary’s Bank!”
