David Smith Joins St. Mary’s Bank
as Financial Consultant
 
Manchester, NH—March 5, 2012—St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union, is pleased to announce the appointment of David P. Smith to financial consultant in St. Mary’s Financial Services division.
 
“We are excited to welcome a seasoned financial advisor like David to our team,” said Leo Simard, St. Mary’s Bank Senior Vice President, Director of Business Development and Retail Sales.  “Our members will benefit tremendously from the knowledge and expertise David has gained during his almost 30 years in the financial services industry."
 
Smith will support the financial needs of the credit union members by providing access to non-traditional banking services including brokerage services and financial, estate, investment, retirement and education planning.
 
Prior to joining St. Mary’s Bank, Smith was a financial advisor for People’s Securities, Inc. in Manchester.  He has worked as a financial consultant for Banknorth Investment Group in Salem and was a vice president, business development officer for Citizens Bank in Manchester. 
 
A resident of Londonderry, Smith holds a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of New Hampshire in Durham and a certificate from the Cannon Financial Institute in Boston, Mass. 
 
Smith is a resident of Londonderry.
