Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester Receives $2,000 Grant from St. Mary's Bank

Posted On 10/4/2013
St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union, recently awarded a $2,000 Community Outreach grant to the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester (MHCGM).

The private non-profit community organization offers comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals of all ages, with a focus on restoring health and improving quality of life. The Center will use the grant to create a new mobile responsive website for Bedford Counseling Associates, one of its affiliate programs that provides counseling to children, teens and their families.

"This website will be vital, since our target market increasingly uses mobile phones and tablets to access the internet,” said Sandra Seney, MHCGM Director of Development & Marketing. “It will enable us to attract clients who prefer to search for counseling services in the privacy of their homes, and also provide information about our services and our mission, spreading the word about our organization 24/7.”

“The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester offers critical services to many members of our community,” said Tom Champagne, St. Mary’s Bank Director of Community Outreach. “St. Mary’s Bank is pleased to be able to provide the funding the center needs to reach out and communicate to those in need.”
