St. Mary's Bank Receives Diamond Award for Outstanding Marketing, Business Development Achievements

St. Mary’s Bank in Manchester, New Hampshire was recently honored with two Diamond Awards, which recognize outstanding marketing and business development achievements in the credit union industry.

The awards were presented by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Council, a national network comprised of over 1,100 credit union marketing and business development professionals. Awards are given in each of 33 categories ranging from advertising to community events and beyond.

St. Mary’s Bank won for both the Social Media and Television (series) categories. Their Social Media entry, “Where Would You Go” Facebook promotion showcased the new St. Mary’s Bank ATMs at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and increased awareness of their debit cards through a unique and engaging experience. Open to the public, individuals had the opportunity to share their story about where they would use their St. Mary’s Bank debit card for a chance to win a $1,000 airline gift card. The Television (series) entry included their “History” and “Success” ads, which together reinforce St. Mary’s Bank’s place in history as the Nations’ First Credit Union, as well as showcase what’s relevant and meaningful today for both businesses and individuals.

"Credit unions that receive these awards should be extremely proud of their accomplishments and know that their work represents the very best examples of creativity, innovation, relevance, and execution. The Diamond Awards are not easily earned and the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council is proud to honor those who are deserving of this recognition."
