St. Mary’s Bank and IMPACCT AcademyTM announce a new partnership designed to teach at-risk students with disabilities about financial literacy. The program will benefit 250–300 IMPACCT students from 70+ high schools across the state.

New Hampshire-based photographer Scot Langdon will showcase his work in the lobby at the Milford branch of St. Mary’s Bank during November and December. Scot is a portrait and commercial photographer with both color and black and white works on display.
The photography will be on display starting Saturday, November 3, and Mr. Langdon will be at the credit union that day from 10:00 a.m.–noon.

“All in a day’s work.” This phrase sums up how Patrick Sheehy, Branch Coach Float at St. Mary’s Bank, approaches his job. And why he was nominated to receive a 2018 Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA) Young Professionals Award of Excellence.
Each year, the CCUA bestows Awards of Excellence to its member credit unions that go above and beyond to promote credit unions and the cooperative business model and advance financial literacy. The Awards of Excellence also recognize young professionals who demonstrate their commitment to the values and principles that define the credit union industry.

With all the breaches that merchants have reported over the years, many consumers have wanted to freeze their credit but have had to pay to do this. A credit freeze is the only law-based way to ensure your credit is locked down and loans or other services (phones, utilities) where a vendor uses credit bureaus to approve you are not fraudulently issued in your name.

St. Mary’s Bank has been named a 2018 “Best Credit Union to Work For” by Credit Union Journal and Best Companies Group, a partnership that identifies credit unions across the country that excel in creating quality workplaces for their employees.
“We are honored to be named one of the Best Credit Unions to Work For for the second consecutive year,” states Ronald Covey, President/CEO of St. Mary’s Bank. “This recognition is particularly meaningful because it is largely determined by our employees and their experiences of working at St. Mary’s Bank.”
