I’ve been working at St. Mary’s for over 30 years and it has been incredibly rewarding personally and professionally. Starting as a part-time teller all the way to my current Electronic & Deposit Operations management position, I’ve had the privilege of helping members with their banking needs. The commitment to helping people is unmatched within St. Mary’s which makes me proud to come to work every day. I love helping people and St. Mary’s lets me do this! 

SMB places an outstanding emphasis on a good company culture! It really is impressive just how well the leadership has done to set the standard for every department to follow in providing a caring, warm, and welcoming environment. Not only do I feel like what I do matters, but I feel appreciation and support from everyone I work with. It really motivates me to do better and grow in every aspect of my job.

I have been working with SMB for over 2 years now as a Member Service Associate at Portsmouth Branch. I am proud to be a part of a Credit Union that has been around since 1908 as the first Credit Union in the nation.   Aside from its stability, I get to work with a company that continually encourages growth personally and professionally which sets SMB apart from other employers that I had worked with in the past.
