Since the early 1980’s, over 7,500 refugees have made New Hampshire their home, and many reside in Manchester, the state’s largest city. St. Mary’s Bank is proud to award Welcoming Manchester with a $2,500 grant in support of their mission of the integration and success of Manchester’s immigrants.

Welcoming Manchester and Easterseals New Hampshire have partnered to develop and deliver a job training program designed specifically for immigrant community members seeking full-time employment with Easterseals as Residential Instructors. This training program provides job-specific skills training, English language instruction, cultural competencies training, and guaranteed employment with Easterseals upon acceptance into the program.

St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Haney to Assistant Vice President, Senior Residential Loan Officer.

Haney joined St. Mary’s Bank in 2012 and has over 19 years in mortgage origination experience. Haney works to provide New Hampshire residents with lending options to meet their needs.

Members of St. Mary’s Bank and their families are encouraged to apply for the St. Mary’s Bank Medallion Fund Scholarship Program. This unique program provides scholarships to students, regardless of age, who are pursuing a vocational or technical career. Students may be pursuing a career in the fields of automotive technology, HVAC certification, nursing, dental hygiene, and more.

For the fourth consecutive year in a row, St. Mary’s Bank has been named Best Credit Union by the readers of the New Hampshire Union Leader.

“We are honored that the readers of the Union Leader have selected St. Mary’s Bank as the best credit union for the fourth year in a row,” said Ron Covey, President and CEO of St. Mary’s Bank. “It’s a testament to the exceptional service our employees provide our members every day.”
