St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union, welcomes Monique Harrington as Assistant Vice President, Wealth Management to the St. Mary’s Financial Services program* located at the credit union.
“Monique brings 17 years of industry experience and a passion for building relationships, both with colleagues and members,” states Leo Simard, Senior Vice President, Director of Retail Sales and Member Experience at St. Mary’s Bank. “She will be an excellent addition to the Financial Services team.”

St. Mary’s Bank introduces Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts (IOLTA) to its products and services. This special account offers above-market rates on IOLTAs and channels the interest earned on attorney escrow accounts to the New Hampshire Bar Foundation. The Bar Foundation, in turn, uses the earnings to fund free or reduced-fee civil legal services and legal education to underserved populations.

Baking, biology, marine sciences, biomedical engineering, wildlife ecology, nursing, and speech pathology. These are the varied programs of study chosen by the recipients of the 2018 St. Mary’s Bank Scholarships.
On Monday, June 4, St. Mary’s Bank awarded $10,000 in scholarships for the 2018–2019 academic year. The credit union held a reception at its McGregor Street headquarters to recognize the 10 recipients who each received $1,000.

Jack Cleary has joined St. Mary’s Bank as Vice President, Director of Information Technology (IT).
Cleary comes to St. Mary’s Bank with 25 years of experience managing IT systems and operations. He prides himself on bridging the gap between the lines of business and technology, ensuring employees and members get the most out of the technologies they use.

Rather than spend a school vacation day taking it easy, Scouts from around New Hampshire spend a day at the nation’s first credit union earning a merit badge.
St. Mary’s Bank has partnered with the Daniel Webster Council to host Scouts as part of the Merit Badge Pro Series. This series enables Scouts to go into businesses to interact with and learn from professionals while earning badges.
