Fake Text Messages
Scammers are sending fake text messages posing as St. Mary’s Bank and directing members to a fraudulent website designed to look like our online banking login page. These messages are intended to capture your online banking credentials.
❌Do not click links in unexpected text messages or enter your username, password, or verification codes. While the site may appear legitimate, it is not affiliated with St. Mary’s Bank.
What to do:
- Access digital banking only through the official St. Mary’s Bank mobile app or by typing our website directly into your browser and clicking the login button
- Never share login credentials or security codes through text or unfamiliar websites

Fake Business Calls
Scammers are calling businesses and posing as St. Mary’s Bank, often asking for the Accounts Payable department. They claim there is suspicious account activity and may reference a specific dollar amount or name to sound legitimate.
Once trust is established, they ask for:

❌ Online Banking User IDs
St. Mary’s Bank will NEVER call YOU and ask for this information.
What to do:
- Do not share account numbers, login details, or one-time codes
- Hang up immediately
- Call us directly using the number on your statement or our official website
