WHY: St. Mary’s Bank and WZID are holding a party to celebrate the finale of their “Bags To Riches” contest where one lucky contestant could win up to $100,000.

This event is being held to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of St. Mary’s Bank, which was founded in 1908 and was the nation’s first credit union.

HOW: Up to 100 contestants will fill the lobby of the McGregor Branch of St. Mary’s Bank. Each of the contestants will be given a crisp $100 bill just for participating. One lucky contestant will become eligible to possibly win the $100,000 Grand Prize. The final contestant will be guaranteed to win at least $10,000. WZID will be broadcasting live at the event, which will include light refreshments, snacks, and music.
