St. Mary’s Bank to Hold Free Credit Seminar

Posted On 5/2/2016
How can one three-digit number have so much influence on your daily financial life? As part of St. Mary’s Bank’s Spring Financial Education Seminar Series, the nation’s first credit union is offering a free seminar focused on understanding and managing credit.

Credit 101 is a comprehensive seminar that will highlight the importance of understanding and monitoring your credit profile and demystify the all-important credit score. The consequences of ignoring your credit rating can negatively impact some of life’s major financial milestones, including buying a vehicle, purchasing a home, or even applying for potential career opportunities.

Give yourself a little credit. Attend Credit 101, learn the basics, and make your credit work for you, not against you. This seminar is perfect for anyone, including young adults with little to no credit and those with several years of credit history.

Credit 101 will be held at St. Mary’s Bank Education Center at 48 Perimeter Road in Manchester on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Registration is free and open to the general public. Attendees can register online or call 1-888-786-2791.

The nation’s first credit union provides educational opportunities for the greater Manchester community. Its Spring Financial Education Seminar Series will focus on a variety of topics including Estate Planning, First-Time Home Buying, Investing 101, and Identity Theft Protection. A complete list of seminars can be found at www.stmarysbank.com/events. All seminars are free and open to the public. Seating is limited; be sure to reserve your seat in advance.
