The St. Mary’s Bank Summer Internship Program is a paid, hands-on opportunity to turn classroom learning into real-world experience. This dual-track internship will give you exposure to Accounting/Finance and Marketing/Digital/Business Intelligence, helping you explore career paths, build valuable skills, and make a meaningful impact.

Program Overview

This structured 10-week internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students. The successful candidate will rotate through: 

  • 5 Weeks in Accounting / Finance - In this track you will, gain practical experience in financial transactions, assets and liability management, and financial planning and analysis. Learn about internal controls, audits, and financial reporting.
  • 5 Weeks in Marketing / Digital and Business Intelligence - In this track you will develop skills in digital marketing, social media, content creation, brand and message alignment, and identify brand opportunities and risks while also gaining exposure to how data is prepared and used behind the scenes to support dashboards and insights that guide marketing and business decisions.

By experiencing both areas, you’ll see how teams collaborate, learn how decisions are made across the organization, and better understand where your interests and strengths align.

Project Presentation

Interns will work with their Advisor to determine a final project presentation aligned with their interests, showcasing what they’ve learned and the value they bring to the Credit Union ending with a formal presentation to executive management.

Who Should Apply

  • Students currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or vocational program
  • Candidates in good academic standing
  • Individuals legally authorized to work in the country
